I’ve called this cat Apartment Cat for as long as I’ve known her. I used to live in this same unit last year and she was here then as well. At that time, the neighbors across from me would feed her. Apparently they’ve been gone for a while.
It started with leftovers of my insanely delicious crock pot shredded chicken with mushrooms.. then a can of chicken straight out of my cupboard. I caved and bought cat food. And might have put an old beat up laundry basket with a blanket in it in the hallway. I’m a sap.
And if her curling up on my slippers while I stood outside to have a smoke this morning is any indication, I’m pretty sure I’ve been claimed now.
